The first half of the week will bring changeable, often rainy weather, with many areas experiencing brisk to strong winds. Daily high temperatures will remain between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius. However, by the weekend, the likelihood of precipitation will decrease and sunshine will return, though temperatures during the warmest hours will still only range from 13 to 18 degrees — according to the forecast by HungaroMet Zrt.
Monday:
Skies will be mostly overcast or cloudy, though thinning and breaks may appear in southeastern regions. Rain will gradually become confined to smaller areas during the morning, followed by scattered showers and thunderstorms primarily in southern Hungary, some possibly accompanied by downpours. Northern and northeastern winds will be brisk, with stronger gusts in the northeast and western Transdanubia. Thunderstorms may temporarily bring gale-force gusts. The highest daytime temperatures will range from 11 to 18°C in the northwest and north, and 19 to 25°C further south.
Tuesday:
Rain will still fall in many areas early in the day, but will become more localized by afternoon, with central regions affected the longest. Expect mostly cloudy skies with occasional breaks. Northerly winds will remain brisk, with stronger gusts in the northeast. Morning lows will be between 7 and 12°C, with highs of 14 to 20°C — cooler in the west and warmer in the southern Great Plain.
Wednesday:
Partly sunny skies are expected with intermittent clouds; isolated showers may occur. Northerly and northeasterly winds will occasionally be brisk. Morning temperatures will range from 3 to 11°C, and afternoon highs will be between 16 and 21°C.
Thursday:
The southwestern and western parts of the country will see overcast or cloudy skies, while other regions may have partly cloudy conditions. Rain or showers are possible in the more overcast regions. Northerly and northeasterly winds may be brisk, with occasional strong gusts. Overnight lows will range from 3 to 11°C, with daytime highs between 13 and 22°C — cooler in the west, warmer in the east.
Friday:
Cloud cover will decrease, leading to generally partly or moderately cloudy skies. Isolated showers may still occur. Northerly winds will be brisk and may temporarily strengthen in some places. Temperatures will range from 1 to 10°C in the morning, and 14 to 20°C in the afternoon.
Saturday:
