The Ministry of Rural Development lifted the ban on lighting fires. After a week of heavy rain, no draught endangers the safety of forests.
The prohibition has been in effect since 8 July. The Ministry reminds the plot owners to be extremely careful when burning dead fallen leaves or weeds, as the quickly spreading fire can easily reach forests or built-up areas.
